The quality of your jewellery is extremely important to me. Both gold plated and sterling silver jewellery will naturally see some evidence of tarnish over time. To keep it looking its best, your jewellery may need a bit of love once in a while so here’s a few pointers on how you can do just that.
Wearing your jewellery
Try to not expose your jewellery to creams, aerosols, lotions, perfumes or any other toiletries as this will speed up the tarnishing process. Your jewellery should generally be the last item you put on when you get ready.
Always remove before swimming, showering and exercise as water and chlorine can cause damage.
Keep away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Wearing your jewellery often will help slow down the oxidisation process. However when storing your jewels, you should keep them individually, in an air tight box or plastic bag, with the chain fastened so as to avoid scratches and tangling. Your Sondr London presentation box is perfect for storage when they're not being worn.
Cleaning your jewellery
Clean your jewellery with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth.
